This contemporary side and rear extension to an existing 1980's detached house provided our client with a semi open plan kitchen dining area with large glass doors opening onto the rear garden. The extension also provided them with a separate snug for their children to use and kept the existing living room in its existing position with good connection to the dining and kitchen spaces.

 

The chosen pallet of external materials gives both the extension and the existing house a modern look.
