This single storey rear extension allowed the client to create an open plan kitchen, dining and living area suitable for modern family living. Connection to the rear patio and garden was created through the installation of tall bi-folding glass doors. The external walls were rendered white and the eaves overhang finished in anthracite zinc in juxtaposition to the Victorian red brick of the existing house and a flat roof lantern brought in lots of natural light deeper within the floor plan.
