Through the addition of a modern rendered side extension, the ground floor of the exiting Victorian detached house in Reigate was opened up to form a kitchen and dining space and a snug area. A step down into the new extension added ceiling height to the kitchen and dining space as well as separating the snug which was at the higher level of the existing house. Glass sliding doors opened up the rear internal space to the rear garden.
